Privacy policy
This page explains what information nice to have (“this site”) receives, what it is used for and how it is protected. We do not use it in any way not written here.
1. What we receive
- When you sign in: from GitHub or Google, your user name, display name, avatar image, email address and account number
- When you use a kit: which kit you pulled in and when (linked to your account if you are signed in)
- When you submit a kit: what you submit and the kit zip you attach; if you submit as a company, the company name, contact person and email address
- When you write a review: the stars, your comment and a link to what you made
- Makers who receive support: records of support received and payout details (bank, branch, account type, account number, account holder)
- When you view pages: Google Analytics uses cookies to count page views and button clicks in aggregate. The servers hosting this site may log your IP address and browser type
2. What we use it for
- Signing you in and confirming it is really you
- Delivering kits
- Understanding how many times kits are used and by how many people, to improve the site and the kits
- Reviewing submissions and contacting the people who submitted them
- Paying out support to makers
- Preventing impersonation and misuse
- Replying to your enquiries
3. What is shown publicly
Reviews (stars, comment, link) are shown publicly with the writer's user name and avatar. Makers who publish kits have their user name and avatar shown on their maker page. Email addresses and payout details are never shown publicly.
4. Sharing with others
We do not give the information we receive to any other person or company, except with your consent or where required by law. We never sell it.
5. Services we rely on
This site uses the services below, and information is stored and processed on their servers, including servers outside Japan such as in the United States.
- Supabase (database and sign-in)
- Vercel (hosting)
- Google (Google sign-in, Google Analytics)
- GitHub (GitHub sign-in)
6. How we protect it
- All traffic is encrypted (https)
- Your information can only be read by you and by people the operator has authorised
- Only the last four digits of an account number are ever shown on screen (to you too)
- Server keys are never written in the code and are kept where they cannot leak
7. Cookies and analytics
Google Analytics uses cookies to count visits in aggregate without identifying you. To opt out, turn off cookies in your browser or use the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on. How Google uses this data is explained here. Your sign-in state is kept only inside your own browser.
8. Seeing, correcting or deleting your information
If you would like to see, correct or delete your information, stop us using it, or delete your account entirely, please contact us at the address below. We will respond promptly once we have confirmed it is you.
